HUSK UP LIFE CYCLE
The amount of carbon dioxide released by plant is actually the same it has extracted from the atmosphere as part of its natural cycle and that is then chemically absorbed by plants. Whether the plant decays in the forest or is burned is meaningless.
The carbon dioxide output will always be the same. Whether as part of its life cycle or when burned.
The carbon dioxide released during the combustion process is subsequently absorbed by the other trees, therefore initiating a natural cycle of carbon dioxide absorption, i.e. neutral carbon.
Plant combustion is an eco-friendly option since in most European countries there has been a considerable increase in the use of fi rewood material from forest production, estimated to be 40% higher in average than the fi rewood consumption.

The Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) and Global Recycled Standard (GRS) are international, voluntary standards that set requirements for third-party certification of recycled input and chain of custody. The shared goal of the standards is to increase the use of recycled materials. The GRS includes additional criteria for social and environmental processing requirements and chemical restrictions.
